GCSE Geography Fieldwork Trip
As part of the GCSE Geography course, student get the chance to undertake fieldwork exploring a wide range of geographical issues. This year, Year 11 students have completed their fieldwork in Peterborough’s city centre, looking at mitigating risk and flows. Students were asked to measure data which rates their opinions and promotes understanding of other stakeholders’ opinions as well as map out the safest areas of the city.

Students were challenged to understand different views, cultures and understand real life issues in a local context.
Students will continue to use the experience in the classroom to “map out” and reduce the risk, encouraging them to further consider social and moral development. As well as developing their understanding of British Values of Mutual Respect and Tolerance.
