Life boat Challenge: Students are presented with a scenario that involves choosing people to remove from a life-boat.
Students are encouraged to debate the morality and social implications of their decisions.

Provides an opportunity for students to question their existing views of certain social positions (profession/skills/social class). It also allows students to debate so-called ‘questionable’ life issues and how failure (mental health/depression/alcoholism etc.) is seen by society.
