The whole of Year 9 competed in teams of 6 to create the “Perfect piece of pencil case content” and “Best ever business proposition”, the enterprise days were delivered by the National Enterprise Challenge Team, 8 teams then presented to a panel of judges, the winning teams from each year group have been invited to present at the national finals at Nat West Head Office for Year 9 in front of Theo Pathitis and 160 participating schools.

The event is for Year 9 and involves the National Enterprise Challenge Team, members of the SMT and Business Studies Department (who are invited along to judge).

Aspect of SMSC

Spiritual Development
Moral Development
Social Development
Cultural Development

Reason for event

This is an excellent opportunity for students to be creative and work in teams with other students who they do not normally work with.  Everyone in each team has a specific role so students have to find out and develop their own strengths, typical roles are, accounts manager, sales and marketing, design, environmental development and everyone in the team has to have a speaking part in the presentation.
