These event was organised to inspire girls in Year 9 and/or 10 to choose a career in engineering.

Women in Engineering Day is an international awareness campaign to raise the profile of women in engineering and focus attention on the amazing career opportunities available to girls in this exciting industry. At the event, there were Inspirational Female STEM Ambassador speakers, market place activities and demonstrations and the chance to network with employers from STEM Industries. The Year 9 and 10 girls had the chance to ask questions, participate in the demonstration and found out more about a career in engineering.
